Hi There!
I am new to this site....In fact i just ran into it by accident. I ride a 1963 restored GL which I ride to work at least 2 to 3 times a week. The scoot is a blast to ride here around the beach communities.

Hi all,
I've been riding scooters since I was 16 back in the mid 1980s. My first bike was a Vespa 150 Super. I've gone through a few over the years, my latest is a 1956 Vespa VL1. I lived in Vancouver, BC here in Canada from 1989 to '95 and was in the Pass N' Wind SC and then in Victoria, BC I was president of the Capital City SC until 2005 when I moved to Toronto for a year and ended up in Winnipeg where I live now. There is no scooter scene here at all so no rallies or club. I still consider myself a scooter pilot though and love my bike and any chance I get to ride.
I'm just trying to stay connected with the world scooter community.
Nice to meet you all,

Hola! from Sacramento California. Scooter boy from the 70's but hadn't owned anything since. Just got a '15 Vespa Primivera and did a couple of MODifications. Ride regularly with a couple scooter groups here. Perfect weather for it ...looking forward to hearing from the community.

Jeremy here, from NE Ohio. I started with a great trade to get a 1966 Super (which I am considering full restoration on in time for Amerivespa 2016), found a 79 PX125E in a garage with a box of parts, then I bought a 2005 PX150 for S&G. We just welcomed our newest family member, my wife bought a 2015 Primavera.

Hey, I am Joel. Bought my Girlfriend a 73 Vespa Sprint on a whim, while trying to get it running right pulled the gas tank and found out it was a Vietnamese Resto. 3 shoddily welded together scooters, multiple patches etc etc.
I have since bought her another frame, a 65 Allstate I will be Vespa badging.

Welcome, Austin! Post some pics when you're done, I was in Dunedin a few years back and there are some very photogenic locations.

Hello members,I am restoring a 1982 vespa P200E,my question is has anyone else noticed that these scooters are extremely unbalanced, and wants to lean towards the engine side of the machine?Iam thinking of adding weights to the other side.Iam also having some trouble finding a new sealed halogen head light.Iam having fun bringing this bike back to life..

Hi. I have a '72 Sprint Veloce 150 (round headlight). In the past I've also had a square headlight version (which is so regret selling) and also a T5, plus loads of motorbikes from 600-1150 cc. I love riding scoots though, especially round the country lanes where I live.
My Sprint runs very well but is a bit shabby all round, which is just how I like it.
Currently going through the process of upgrading to 12v at the moment, which is a bore.
Only other alterations are upgraded forks and exhaust (that still looks standard)
I like in West Sussex, UK.

Hello from Australia, thankyou for accepting me! I have an 18 month old Vespa 300 and 1968 150cc Gran Turismo that I've recently purchased of the original owner after a 24 year slumber

Welcome Richard! Must have been stored well, it looks cherry.
What did you have to do to get it running again after sitting for 24 years?
