As Rick Chew, founder of this gathering explains in his written history of the organization, “I did not want this to be a club with bureaucracy and did not want this to be so organized that cones would have to be set up every morning, a 50/50 raffle ticket would take place, and music would be blasting in the air.”

The La Cañada venue has none of those things — just a bunch of men and women who love cars getting together for a few hours on Saturday mornings.
Bring your car up and be part of the fun from 6:30AM to 9AM. There is a Starbucks for your coffee as well

Do you guys know about the awesome La Cañada car show that takes place every Saturday morning? I say it is “underground” because it is not a formal, advertised event – it is an informal bunch of car enthusiasts getting together for a shared passion.

Starting at about 6:30am, the parking lot of the United Artist movie theater fills up with some of the most beautiful and interesting automotive specimens on the road. It’s super low key and informal, no sponsors, no food courts, just dedicated car lovers and the awesome cars they show up in. Cruise on up and check it out. There is a Starbucks for the coffee and snacks

I have been attending for a long time and never have had disappointment. It is my ritual for a Saturday morning ...when it's not raining :-)

The best cars and coffee in the area, the incredible diversity and sheer number of cars that show the up every Saturday is just mind blowing
Well, except when it rains :) only the British cars aren't afraid to get wet

Seriously 6:30AM to 9:00AM every Saturday. There is a Starbucks there too
Congregation of over 100 cars of every creed and breed
Middle aged men and women getting together celebrating motoring heritage
