I'm in San Diego and have two 2000 Bajaj Chetaks. One kind of runs, and the other does not. I'm looking for someone who would be willing to take these off my hands. The only reason I'm not giving them away is that I want them to go to someone who will actually want to restore them or use them for parts. The registration is way past due on one, and I have no idea on the other. The DMV wanted to charge me $700 to bring everything current, so people recommended that I sell them for parts. I'm fine giving them away; I just don't want them to go to someone who will abandon the project.

What engines are in those units? Im up in BC and have the taiwan pgo model from 86. Those units migjt be worth using some parts from and making a 1 good bike and fixing mine.

Also... my physiotherapist is from india and we talk alot about my unit cause I ride it to his office for treatment. I think he misses his old chetak and would probably love to restore one here if u have paperwork for it.
