Hey All New to the forum just picked up a 1960 GL 150. Would like to verify and decode based on the numbers stamped on the body and engine any pointers would be appreciated.
Title says 1959 year first sold year model says 1960 and seller tells me 1963. Im obviosly going with whats on the title but would love to decode the stamped numbers

Send us some pictures of your bike! Also share the actual VIN (frame) and engine numbers so we can weigh in directly.

From one of those, I see GL 150's start with the following prefixes. So yours should presumably match to... VGLA1T for '59-'61 or VLA1T for '63
VGL1T = '56-'58
VGLA1T = '59-'61
VGLB1T = '61-'62
VLA1T = '62-'65
