  • New project to restore, The 65 GT350 is done

  • Rally 180 from the front

  • Rear view, no turn signals, great lines

  • Speedo in kilometers

Based on the online Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Decoder for Vespa's, my Vespa Rally 180 is actually a 1971 based on the build number series that it falls into. That being Vespa Rally 180's carrying VIN's 17811 to 23348.

Though California DMV has it is registered as a 1968, the first model year of the Rally 180. Fortunately we have the internet these days to accurately research information previously unavailable.

It's present condition is completely stock, with it's 6 volt electrical system. It's been repainted once (poorly in Mustard Yellow) a little surface corrosion (not too bad) on the floor board. Everything works!

Future plans is to do a complete resto and quality repaint, a seat recover and a expansion chamber exhaust system (pipe).
