Happy Summer!
This is the original Allstate (US) version of the Italian Vespa, made by Piaggio in Italy and sold through the Sears catalog in the mid '60s. 4 speed transmission was stock on this bike (1964 was the year they started to ship the 4 speed). Fully restored in 2008 (body professionally restored - no rust or bondo) with rebuilt and upgraded engine. Increased displacement from stock 125cc to a 150 cc ported cylinder and piston with upsized head studs and matching high-compression machined head from Hot Rod Scooters, Fresno, CA. Case ported for increased airflow. Breathes in through an upgraded Dell 'Orto 24/24 carb and breathes out through a PX150 exhaust. 12V electronic ignition with voltage regulator, halogen headlight and LED brake light. Fatter front spring for improved handling. Parts box included with all original parts (engine case, carb, jets, etc.). Clean NJ title.
Starts on the first kick and runs like a top. Unlike many old Vespas it's got no problem keeping up with traffic and she pulls hard through the gears.

Your scoot looks very similar and is a very nice example. Looks like it has a twin, just south of you in Maryland........

Nice one! Looks like you did the front fork and wheel size upgrade. Always wanted to do that, I bet that was a big improvement in handling. I will miss her when she's sold!

Yes, you probably will. I love messing with these little guys. My other favorite, is this '66 Blue Badge 150, it was a total rebuild. Needed a new floor and part shield. Was able to save the original Sears emblem on the front shield. Love the 10" wheels too.
