Rear brake problem! (PX200)
This topic is about my 1991 Vespa PX 200

Recently my rear brakes have been inconsistent in different parts of the wheel. Meaning that while I consistently hold down the breaks, I will feel the brakes get more and less affective as the wheel turns.
I have replaced the read hub and the brake shoes, but I still have the same problem.
I'm not sure if this is something to be concerned about.
Any help appreciated.

Hello Lachie,
Have you replaced the front and rear brake cables? Also which brake shoes did you use as a replacement? I recommend the Newfren slotted brake shoes as one of the best options.
If you replace the cables, replace the cable hardware as well to eliminate the usual suspects.
