Hi all,

I have a really wierd issue! I have a 1967 VLB. The battery storage cover has a lock on it. The key hole on the outside takes a round key. The key looks like a small piece of tube but with a couple of lugs - one lug on the inside of the "tube" and one lug on the outside of the "tube". Somehow, on the lock, the inner and outer pays have become offset - they have small cut outs to accept the key. This means I can't get the key in. Does anyone know how to resolve this, or alternatively, how to remove the lock so I can replace it? The cover is closed so I can get to the"back" of the lock..... Any ideas / diversions / advice would be INCREDIBLY welcome!!! Cheers, Piers
