Greetings,

I am interested in purchasing a few old Vespa's and would like to put them in long-term storage. Can someone please recommend the best way to approach this? My thought is to drain tank and let it run until gas clears lines and carb, elevate to take weight off tires, and if model has a battery to disconnect it. I would opt to leave oil in engine which seems the best option.

Thanks in advance for any advice smiling smiley

Also put some oil 30 wt case oil into the spark plug hole on the cylinder head so the piston will not seize up over time. Just remember to drain the excess when you take the scooter out of storage.
