Hi I have an SS180 1968 battery model. I have just developed an issue that when I turn the lights on it cuts the engine. All the bulbs have blown now so when you turn the side lights on it keeps going but I am sure that when I put a new bulb in it will ether stop the engine or blow the bulb. The only one not blown is the main and that stopes the engine when I switch it on.

It sounds like you have developed a short somewhere behind the switch...
