1961 gs 150 motor was stolen in Pittsburg by a vespa shop that went BK with only 590 miles on the clock . At least its now back on the road with a 200cc rally engine hidden under the bubble.

I am keeping her as she is. it has taken 65 years to get this look :-) she has won trophies at four shows so people must like the look. planning on riding her to Vespa world days in Germany this summer.

Just got the bug to own a Vespa. I have wanted one since college. I have picked up a couple of vespas in the last two months. I bought the 1965 super 150 first. Restored a few years back...pretty sure it is a product of Vietnam. I know how most everyone bashes the Vietnam scooters, but this one is in pretty good condition. The red 1968 is a sprint, and it is a US model. It is unrestored and was purchased from the second owner. Both run very well and have been fun to ride around. Next step is to get a motorcycle license. Scott
