Recently I bought a 1966 Vespa 125. I figured out it's an Allstate by the "Mickey Mouse" tail light. It looks like a couple things have been changed/modified but overall it's in good shape. The engine idles really fast so it will need a little work and after that I'll get body work and a paint job done. It's a 4 speed and shifts nice but the high idle makes it hard to ride. Does any one have any ideas for me?

Hi

I have '66 Blue Badge 150 w/MM light. Check for any air leaks. Obviously, re-visit the the carb and idle screws.

Thanks. I'm having the motor completely overhauled.

I had the '66 taken apart completely. Having the engine rebuilt. New cables and wire harness. Waiting now for body work and paint. She's going to be sweet!
