Hey guys,

I've got a specific question and come to your forum for some help, maybe you can help me out?

Im in the process of restoring a vintage Vespa and nearly ready for paint.
Finaly decided on the color, however I've only got 1 picture as an example....

Could anyone tell me whether the scoot in the picture has an orginal color and what name/code it has?

greets,

Ben

This is a full list of original colours:

I think that colour might be "PIA900 ROSSO"

Hi Mate,
Sorry, do not speak Italian, that's why it is so bad? However, I do have a half a shot at Spanish. Thanks for that new link. Do you know about SIP....although German, I've bought sheet metal replacements part from them and are of excellent quality. In this pic, I'm test fitting a new floor pan section on my 66 Blue Badge/Sprint 150.
Ciao!?

Just out of curiosity..how much does a common Vespa (such as 125 Primavera) cost in USA?

Hi
Here's great Vespa site that is busy with posters from around the world (www.modernvespa.com.
)I've only been into these little guys for not quite a year. But have learned so much from these guys. My background is more into classic cars like the E Type jag and the early Ford Mustangs.
Regarding the cost of the "smallies", it can be so "all of the map", as we say here. It just depends on the condition. This Blue Badge 150, I paid $800 USD. It needed this rear floor section replaced, the tank needed to be cleaned, a brake switch replaced and an entire seat.

Hi , thanks for the site! In Italy there're a lot of Vespe but they're so expensive right now (overage prices of all kind of Vespa are very high) for example for an Vespa GS 160 you must spend not less than 5000€ (almost 6500$) so.. i'm also looking to other markets smiling smiley

Very good Fanbiano. That Scoot.net classifieds is a great site for scoot parts.

This is within the same site, but, links to the parts for sale. It lists scoots too.
